So I did what most of us do. Bought more products. A new serum. A stronger exfoliant. An acid toner that promised transformation. My routine took 20 minutes — and my skin was worse than ever.
That’s when I realised the problem wasn’t what I was missing. It was what I was doing to my skin. Every active, every acid, was stripping the one thing designed to protect me — my skin barrier.
