Can I use Silkdrop morning and night?
Yes. Apply to clean, slightly damp skin morning and evening. In the morning, always finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Is Silkdrop suitable for sensitive skin?
Silkdrop is a gentle, barrier-focused formula, and many of our customers with sensitive skin use it daily.
As with any new skincare, patch test on a small area first and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Can I use it on oily skin?
Yes. Silkdrop is featherlight and absorbs quickly, so it doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy layer. If your skin is oily or combination, start with one pump, and you may prefer a lighter moisturiser afterwards.
Do I need moisturiser after Silkdrop?
It depends on your skin. Silkdrop hydrates on its own, but if your skin feels dry, or on cold and windy days, follow with a moisturiser such as Skin Shield Barrier Cream.
Do I still need sunscreen?
Yes. Silkdrop is not a sunscreen. Every morning, finish your routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
How much Silkdrop should I apply?
One to two pumps is enough for the face and neck. Gently press into clean, slightly damp skin.
What is the difference between 30ml and 50ml?
Only the size. Both contain the same formula. The 50ml costs less per millilitre and qualifies for free Australian shipping on its own.
How long does a bottle last?
With twice-daily use, a 30ml bottle lasts approximately 4–6 weeks and a 50ml bottle approximately 7–10 weeks, depending on how many pumps you use. That’s from about a day for the 30ml and a day for the 50ml.
When does free shipping apply?
Free Australian shipping applies to orders over $75. The 50ml qualifies on its own; the 30ml on its own does not. For orders under $75, shipping is shown at checkout before you pay.
What is DAP’s returns policy?
If you change your mind, unopened and unused items in their original sealed packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery (return shipping at your cost). For hygiene reasons we can’t accept opened skincare unless it’s faulty.
